Is ServeMobile a phone carrier?
No. ServeMobile is an internet calling and messaging service from Serve Aurora. It works over Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Can I call 911?
App-to-app calls cannot reach 911. ServeMobile phone lines must have an active E911 address, but you should always keep another way to call 911, such as a mobile phone or landline.
Why do you need my emergency address?
Serve Aurora requires an active E911 address on every phone line so emergency services can find you. It is never shown to other users.
Are my messages private?
Only participants in a conversation can read it. Messages are encrypted in transit but are not end-to-end encrypted.
Will calls ring when the app is closed?
Not yet. ServeMobile is a web app, so calls ring only while it is open. Native apps are planned.
How do I pay for a plan?
Paid plans are billed by Stripe. ServeMobile never sees your full card number. You can cancel anytime from Profile, then Manage billing.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile, then Your data, then Delete my account. You can download your data first.
